Piano, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitar, composition, theory tuition, musicianship and more..........

Performance
I think there is nothing more rewarding than to be able to communicate your musicianship to others. Of course most of us are not natural performers, and some may need a little encouragement to play in front of others.

Concert
Every year I encourage my students to take part in a celebration of their progress. Those who take part are given the opportunity to play with other musicians, whether as duets, trios, rock band or part of a choir or percussion group. Of course, participation is not compulsory. You can just come along and enjoy the show! The photo above shows a rock song in progress, but there is plenty of piano and keyboard playing too.

Suffolk Festival for the Performing Arts
Each year one or two of my piano students may choose to enter the Suffolk Festival for the Performing Arts. This is held mainly at Woodbridge School and is open to the public, family and friends of the participants. The festival gives pupils the chance to perform in competitive conditions, though I always stress that it is the taking part that matters.
