About Me: I have been teaching piano and guitar for many years and I am a member of EPTA UK (European Piano Teachers Association). I have an ALCM(TD) diploma, 'A' level music, ABRSM Grade 8 in Theory and ABRSM Grade 8 in Singing.
During the 1990's I co-wrote music for two stage productions, one of which was performed at Northgate Arts Centre and the Spa Pavillion, Felixstowe.
I have played guitar, keyboard and vocals in a rock band for 10 years, playing to audiences all over East Suffolk.
Currently I am assistant to the musical director of the 50 strong female choir tutti frutti voices.
Motivation is key in my view. I make sure that students are given opportunities to play in concert and with other musicians at least once a year. My student concert usually involves playing alongside drummers, guitarists, string players, keyboard and piano players and singers. Performances include a good mix of classical repertoire, rock, pop, jazz and blues. The main aim is to have fun!

Lessons are normally weekly, and take place at my home studio, based in Martlesham, between Ipswich and Woodbridge in Suffolk.
Fees as at September 2011 are £14 per half-hour (£28 per hour)
